Mgr Clin Informatics

How You'll Make a Difference Oversees and participates in interdisciplinary planning to determine system solutions that support safe patient care, set standards for clinical applications, conform to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, and transform clinical practice. Maintains an evidence based practice and end user-centric focus when contributing to support activities which enhance technology adoption and efficiencies to improve safety and quality outcomes. Supports and participates in Advocate Aurora Health Clinical Informatics Department vision and strategic goals. Oversees day to day operation activities of the site(s), as well as development and direct management of informatics resources at that assigned site(s).   Has direct responsibility for the Clinical Informatics resources assigned to the hospital(s) or site(s). Ensures enterprise wide health informatics technology as well as clinical initiatives, programs, projects are accurately and seamlessly translated to the hospital or site setting(s). Ensures needs of the electronic health record end user is reflected in overall design, build and optimization activities carried on through governance and other programs designed to standardize electronic documentation. Participates in hospital or site based councils, committees as required. Supports development of direct reports, engaging both the clinical informatics director as well as the CNIO as needed. Serves as a liaison between clinical operations and providers, information services, system users, and the vendor technical services for coordination, problem resolution, system maintenance activities and case/point resolution as it relates to informatics and ongoing clinical competency with Electronic Health Records. Demonstrates expert understanding of clinical practice as it pertains to the integration of clinical information systems. Models excellent communication, feedback and conflict resolution skills, promoting collaboration. Proactively monitors/evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming. Recommends new applications/ design modifications to enhance clinical operational needs. Collaborates to design system user informatics modules, and, where appropriate, delivers training/support on system capabilities/functionalities. Develops, implements, and evaluates complex health information systems projects, and timelines. Leads project implementation to ensure timeline adherence and task completion. Qualifications License & Certifications RegisteredNurselicense issued by the state in which the team member practices. Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field. Experience Typically requires 5years ofexperience in a hospital or similar setting.Includes 1year of supervisoryexperiencein a hospital or similar setting. Demonstrated ability to develop timelines, implement project tasks, and evaluate project outcomes.Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to make sound recommendations based on data analysis, and clinical user needs, assuring maximum productivity, and continuous process improvement.Strong knowledge of computer operating platforms, applications software, and network software.Advanced skills in EHR applications, Microsoft Office Suite or similar products and experience with large scale automated systems.Demonstrated experienceworking with clinical and technical customers, vendors, peers, and management. Demonstrated success and experience building relationships with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to information security and confidentiality.Demonstrated strength in presenting to groups and senior leadership.Demonstrated experience training staff and leadership on system uses, functionalities, and reporting mechanisms. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
