The FlatTop division of Rexnord located in Grafton, Wisconsin is currently searching for an Machine Operator Rexnord TableTop conveyor chains are the product of choice for a diverse variety of businesses, including bottlers, poultry processors, can manufacturers even the auto industry. Description
Summary:
Assemble component parts into finished chain and pack or pack loose components in containers while working with various plastic injection molding machines.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience in assembly practices and procedures are preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The list is representative but not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee operation of the press (watching for malfunction, proper ejection of part, etc.)
Ability to read and understand the blue box.
Perform visual inspection of molded parts and must be able to use necessary measuring devices and gauges.
Trim a variety of molded parts (using knife, clippers or degaters).
Responsible for packing, stacking on skids and counting parts.
Communicate with upcoming operators.
Fill out daily production card accurately.
Communicate any variances in quality or machine malfunctions.
Grind runners and defective parts.
Must be able to run an assembler and air gun.
Must be able to run more than one machine.
Be willing to perform other tasks as required.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
Small hand tools, gauges
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
The use of Safety Glasses is required.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Need to have knowledge of basic math, basic computer knowledge and be able to read gauges and make measurements.
